Thank you to all the riders who have entered the K2C to date. The event management and owners took a decision this week to cut our entry limit dramatically this year. This is to give the event the best chance of taking place and also to be realistic about working with the current Covid-19 legislation. The usual entry cut-off is 4500 riders, but this year, only 2500 entries will be accepted. At present, the event has over 2000 entries already. All riders who did not contact the race office when the postponement was announced in 2020 – were automatically migrated to the 2021 event. We are including these riders in the 2021 numbers.
Please enter ASAP if you want to avoid disappointment.
The Lions of Uniondale and Knysna have graciously extended the same refund (minus admin fee), migrate to 2022, or donate your entry to the charity option for 2021. This is applicable if the event is postponed due to Covid-19 legislation. If the event goes ahead and you cannot make it – the usual refund policy will apply. The Event Manager and Safety and Covid Compliance officer are currently working with the relevant role-players on the permissions process and the logistics around the event – considering Covid-19.
We are here to assist you and appreciate the amazing support from our valued cyclists.
