Following months of planning, route inspections and close collaboration with the Western Cape Department of Infrastructure and Mobility, emergency services, engineers, landowners and our many stakeholders, permission has been granted for the event to proceed on a revised route.
The 2026 event marks the 25th edition of the Lions Karoo to Coast and, while this year’s route will be different, riders can still look forward to the same unforgettable journey from the Klein Karoo to the Garden Route.
